African-American Business Council

Organization of African-American Chamber members who meet monthly to network, share business information, and showcase African American owned businesses. All are welcomed to attend meetings and special events of this very active committee. The AABC also offers recommendations to the Chamber's Board of Directors. Hispanic Business Council

The Hispanic Business Council's mission is to provide resources for economic development and professional opportunities for Hispanic owned businesses and individuals in the Birmingham area. 2006 Birmingham Diversity Summit

The Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Kaleidoscope Productions, Inc. (KPI) present the 2006 Birmingham Diversity Summit, the largest business conference in the state of Alabama with 100% focus on workforce and supplier diversity issues, on October 19, 2006. This annual event features workshops, exhibitors, experts and lots of networking opportunities.
